Entry Requirements

All foreign nationals can stay in the islands for 30 days. This can be extended by 15 days with permission. They require a permit to stay, which can easily be obtained on arrival at Port Blair (either by air or sea) from the immigration authorities. In addition permits can also be obtained from:
(1) Indian Mission Overseas,
(2) Foreigners Registration Offices at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Calcutta.
(3) The immigration authorities at the airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta.
Indian nationals need no permit to visit Andaman.

DAY 01 / CHENNAI:

Arrive Chennai.

Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Check-in time is 12 noon.

The city is a true reflection of this country's diversity. Chennai has flourished into a charming and welcoming city, in a time span of just over 350 years. This city encourages all forms of development, both modern technology and the traditional arts and crafts, and embraces a series of paradoxes.

DAY 02 / CHENNAI - PORT BLAIR BY AIR

Morning transfer to airport in time to board flight for Port Blair.

Assitance on arrival and after completing permit formalities transfer to your hotel.

Port Blair, the capital of the 350 odd islands that comprise the Andaman and Nicobar group, has one major landmark-the Cellular Jail.
In 1858, the first European settlement on the islands was established near the site of the old penal colony, and was named Port Blair in honor of Captain Blair.
The Andamans are a paradise for ecologists and ornithologists with 242 species of birds, 46 species of mammals and 78 species of reptiles-some of them rare and almost extinct.

Afternoon guided city sightseeing tour of Port Blair visiting Cellular Jail (National Memorial), Chatham Saw Mill, Gandhi Park, Anthropological Museum, fisheries Museum, Samudrika (Naval Marine Museum).

The Cellular Jail
To pay homage to the martyrs, one can visit the Cellular Jail and museum. A close look at the Death House and the instruments of torture brings to mind India's freedom struggle and the contribution of those who gave their life for the country.

DAY 03 / PORT BLAIR

Full day excursions to Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park- Wandoor (29 Kms. From Port Blair) and Cinque islands.

Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is made up of open sea, creeks and fifteen small and large islands covering an area of 281.5 sq. Kms. One can see mangrove forests along the creeks and magnificent tropical forests, fascinating coral reefs and rare under-water marine life. The Park is the base to visit islands like Jolly Buoy, red Skin and Cinque famous for exotic marine-life, rare colourful under-water corals and mangrove creeks. Glass bottom boats help to take a closer look of the coral colonies, a memorable experience.

DAY 04 / PORT BLAIR

Morning half day excursion tour of Chidiya Tapu (25 Kms. From Port Blair). Generally known as Bird Island, at the southern most tip of South Andaman, the lush green mangroves and the beach make it an ideal picnic site. The forest guest house situated on top of a hillock provides a fabulous view of isolated islands, submerged corals and breath-taking sunset.

Afternoon free for independent activities. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 05 / PORT BLAIR

Full day visit of Andaman Water sports Complex.

This is a unique sports complex in India in its own kind. There are facilities for safe water sports such a rowing Boats, Paddle Boats, Kayaks, Aqua-cycle, Aqua-glide, Bumper boats, etc., and Adventure water sports such as Water – skiing , Water scooters, Gemini boats, Para-sailing, sail boats, Wind-surfers, Speed boats, glass-bottom boats, etc.

DAY 06 / PORT BLAIR

Morning half day tour of Corbyn’s complex.

Corbyn's Cove Tourism Complex is located in Andaman and Nicobar  Islands. It is 4 km east of the Vir Savarkar airport and 7 km south of the town. Corbyn's Cove is the nearest beach to Port Blair. The tourism complex offers a range of water sports facilities. It is located in a picturesque setting that is ideal for sea bathing and sun basking.

DAY 07 / PORT BLAIR - HAVELOCK ISLAND BY BOAT (3 HRS)

Morning proceed to Havelock Island by boat.

This Island offers beautiful sandy beaches and lush green forest. Island camping at Radha Nagar beach is a real exposure to the unpolluted nature for an environment lover.

DAY 08 / HAVELOCK ISLAND - PORT BLAIR

Morning free for independent activities and later proceed back to Port Blair.
On arrival transfer to your hotel and evening free for independent activities.

DAY 09 / PORT BLAIR - CHENNAI BY AIR

Morning transfer to airport in time to board flight for Chennai.

On arrival transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon guided city sightseeing tour of Chennai.

Chennai too has many places for tourist’s interest viz. Fort St. George, High court Building, Marina beach, Theosophical Society, Calluvar Kottam, Mgr Film City and other places of Interest. The Fort stands as a symbol of the British Raj, amid state offices, facing the sea in the east of the city, just south of George Town. It is the first British fort build around1653 by the British East India Company.

DAY 10 / CHENNAI - OUT

Transfer to airport in time to board flight for onward destination. Check-out time is 12 noon.
