Arrive Rishikesh.
Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Check-in time is 12 noon.
Rishikesh is a peaceful town and is also one of the holiest towns of India. There is a mystical air about the place. A famous centre for yoga, meditation and river river rafting.
All the participants will meet at hotel and attend briefing on trekking techniques.

| DAY 02 / RISHIKESH – GANGOTRI BY SURFACE (244 KMS / 8 HRS) |
Morning proceed to Gangotri enroute visiting countryside and transfer to your hotel.
Gangotri is an ideal location for the tourists looking for peace and adventure. Located in the hills, 18 kms downstream from Gaumukh is Gangotri. It is an important pilgrim site located at 3,048 m above sea level. Gangotri is situated in the northern part of the state of Uttaranchal and is very close to the Indo-Tibetan border. Gangotri glaciers, the original source of the sacred river Ganges, attracts tourists in large numbers every season. At Gangotri there is a temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga and the sacred stone where Raja Bhagirath is believed to have worshipped Lord Shiva. Submerged in the river here is the natural rock Shivalinga where Lord Shiva is believed to have received the Ganges (called Bhagirathi here) in his matted locks.

| DAY 03 / GANGOTRI – BHOJBASA (TREK – 14 KMS) |
Morning proceed for 14 kms trek to Bhojbasa (3792 m) with packed lunch enroute visiting picturesque trail.
Overnight in tented camp.
| DAY 04 / BHOJBASA – TAPOVAN (TREK – 08 KMS) |
Morning proceed for 10 kms trek to Nandanvan with packed lunch enroute visiting Gaumukh (3892 m) the source of river Ganges and then further trekking up we reach Tapovan (4463 m), a grassy meadow on the east bank of the Gangotri Glacier. Tapovan is also the base camp for climbing Expeditions to the stunningly beautiful Mt. Shivling (6543 m). Enjoy the beauty of Himalayan peaks.

| DAY 05 / TAPOVAN – NANDANVAN (TREK) |
Morning continue trekking 3 hrs further up to Nandanvan (4340 m) crossing enroute the Gaumukh glacier. From Nandanvan we have a glorious view of Shivling , Meru.
Overnight in tented camp.
| DAY 06 / NANDANVAN – BHOJBASA (TREK) |
Morning proceed for trek down to Bhojbasa.
Overnight in tented camp.
| DAY 07 / BHOJBASA – GANGOTRI (TREK) |
Morning proceed for trek to Gangotri.
Overnight at your hotel.

Morning proceed to Rishikesh enroute visiting countryside and transfer to your destination.
