Overview

Day 01: Arrive Kolkata
Upon arrival meeting at the Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kolkata
After Breakfast start your beautiful day with visit of Victoria Memorial Hall, Mother Teressa Home and Eden Gardens. The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, which was built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria (1819–1901) and is now a museum and tourist destination under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. The memorial lies on the maidan (grounds) by the bank of the Hooghly River, near Jawaharlal Nehru road. Overnight at Hotel. (B)

Day 03: Leave: Kolkata – Arrive: Darjeeling
Morning transfer to Airport to connect Flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival meeting at the Airport and continue drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival Check-In into Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel. (D)

Day 04: Darjeeling
After breakfast enjoy Joy Ride on World Heritage Toy Train, Darjeeling to Ghoom and back. After Lunch hike to Alubari Village/Monastery. Dinner & Overnight at Hotel. (B, D)

Day 05: Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park and Tibetan Refugee Centre. After Lunch Walk/Hike to Observatory Hill and Bhutia Basti. Dinner & Ovenright at Hotel. (B, D)

Day 06: Leave: Darjeeling – Arrive: Gangtok
After Breakfast drive to Gangtok. It is a fascinating journey passing through river valleys, Tea Gardens [especially the very famous Peshok Tea Garden], scenic countryside and isolated homesteads. The drive from Teesta is along the River Teesta till the Sikkim check point at Rangpo. After completing the Sikkim entry permit formalities, we will driver further until Ranipool from where we will leave the main highway and drive towards Rumtek to visit the famous Rumtek Monastery. The monastery is the seat of the GyalwaKarmapa, the head of the Kagyu-pa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. After the visit, we will retrace to the main highway and drive to the Capital of Sikkim, Gangtok. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

Day 07: Gangtok
After breakfast drive to Tashi View Point to have a wonderful view of the Kanchenjunga Mountain ranges. The visit of the day the Orchid Sanctuary, Institute of Tibetology, Do DrulChorten and the Government Handicrafts Center. An hour free time at the famous MG Marg and the ancient LalBazzar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

Day 08: Leave: Gangtok – Arrive: Kalimpong
After Breakfast exit Sikkim and enter the small town of Kalimpong. Kalimpong, is an exotic town of beautiful people, mystical and enchanting. Ruled by Bhutan for 155 years, and annexed by the British in 1865, it was developed as a center of the wool trade with Tibet. Kalimpong is a wanderer’s delight. Buddhist tankhas, hand beaten silver, Bhutanese weaves, Chinese lamps, hand crafted paper, Lepcha daggers, Nepali Khukaris and Buddhist masks are some of the shopping attractions. Upon arrival CheckIn into Hotel. Afternoon visit Durpin Gonpa, Flower Nurseries, Scenic Sights and the stroll in the town. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel. (B, D)

Day 09: Leave: Kalimpong  – Arrive: Kolkata
After Breakfast drive to Bagdogra Airport to connect Flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival meeting at the Airport and transfer to city for last minute shopping. Later transfer to the Airport to connect Flight to home destination. (B)
